The Department Goals and Objectives

The Department Role

The Counseling department at MCBS has the following key responsibilities:

  • Individual Counseling: Offer confidential counseling sessions to students, providing a safe and supportive space to discuss personal, academic, and career-related concerns.
  • Group Counseling: Conduct group counseling sessions and workshops on various topics such as stress management, study skills, time management, and career development.

  • Referral Services: Collaborate with external resources and professionals to refer students for specialized services beyond the scope of the Counseling department, such as psychiatric evaluation or substance abuse counseling.
