The program incorporates global economic principles and standards to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economics on an international scale. Students learn to analyze and interpret macroeconomic indicators and their implications for businesses and policymaking.
It covers concepts and frameworks from renowned economic models, such as those promoted by international organizations like the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the program facilitates internships opportunities with organizations in the public or private sector. Students gain practical experience, apply economic theories in real-world contexts, and develop professional networks.
Oman Vision 2040 also emphasizes on achieving its targets through Economic diversification and competitiveness. This provides Economic graduates a notable opportunity to serve the Oman Economy.
